A one-of-a-kind Mercedes-Benz W223 wagon was spotted in Italy.

Upon closer inspection of the photos, it appears that certain body components, including the roof, rear windows, and fifth-door liftgate, were sourced from the E-Class W214.

The vehicle is registered in Italy, with a license plate that actually belongs to a long-wheelbase diesel S-Class. Unfortunately, no further information is available at this time.

BMW Was Very, Very Close To Launching An All-Electric Hypercar With 1,300 HP

BMW recently came close to launching an all-electric hypercar boasting 1,300 HP. The project advanced to the clay model stage but was ultimately shelved by the board. Why? Simple: Concerns over market readiness and profitability.

This decision follows the cancellation of the I16 mid-engined hybrid sports car in favor of the XM SUV, indicating BMW's strategic shift towards more commercially viable models - no risk, good money.

What next? For now, BMW is pushing ahead with an all-electric M3 based on its Neue Klasse platform. This new model will feature four electric motors and may deliver over 1,000 hp, enough to push it into hypercar territory.

Honda and Nissan Reportedly Begin Merger Talks

Honda and Nissan are reportedly in discussions to merge, potentially operating under a new holding company. This development follows their earlier collaboration in March 2024, which expanded in August to include Mitsubishi for joint electric vehicle and software development. Nissan's recent financial struggles, including production cuts and dealership challenges, may be driving this move.

First-Ever Electric BMW M3 Previewed with Boxy-Muscular Bodywork in New Press Photos

BMW M has teased its electric future with this camouflaged prototype of the upcoming all-electric M3. Built on the “Neue Klasse” (en: New Class) platform and inspired by the Vision Neue Klasse concept, the 2027 M3 is expected to feature a quad-motor setup which is capable of delivering up to 1’341 HP. However, in first stages we expect a rather more accessible power output. Advanced tech like the “Heart of Joy supercomputer” will ensure it retains the precision and agility synonymous with the M brand.

Alongside the M3, BMW plans to expand its electric M lineup, including the iX3 M SUV, showcasing its commitment to high-performance EVs.

Lamborghini’s First EV Delayed to 2029: Market “Not Ready”, Says CEO

Lamborghini has postponed the launch of its first electric vehicle (EV) to 2029, a year later than initially planned. CEO Stephan Winkelmann stated that the luxury sports car market isn't yet ready for full electrification, particularly in their segment.

The upcoming EV is expected to be a four-seat grand tourer, inspired by the “Lanzador" concept unveiled in 2023. It may share components with other Volkswagen Group models, including electric motors, while incorporating unique technologies to distinguish it from competitors.

It Had To Happen: First Ferrari 12 Cilindri Crashes During Media Drive in Luxembourg

A Ferrari 12 Cilindri has crashed in Luxembourg. As per reports, the car was part of the media fleet for a local press event. Just In: Tesla Recalls Nearly 700’000 Vehicles Over Tire Pressure Monitoring System Issue

Tesla is recalling approximately 694’304 vehicles in the United States due to a malfunction in the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). The affected models include the Model 3, Model Y, and Cybertruck vehicles. The TPMS warning light may fail to remain illuminated between drive cycles, potentially leaving drivers unaware of low tire pressure and increasing the risk of a crash.

The company plans to address this issue through an over-the-air software update. This recall adds to Tesla's record of leading U.S. vehicle recalls, accounting for 21% of all recalls in the first three quarters of the year. Notably, most of these issues have been resolved via software updates. You may be affected, check Tesla App.
